Jacob Jasaits and his wife Agota

In my efforts to identify the parents of my gr-grandmother, Petronella Jasaitis Uknavage, I have consulted death certificates, hers and those of her siblings. So far I have not determined her mother’s last name, only that her first name was Agota. As for my gr-grandmother’s father, it was probably Jacob Jasaitis. You’ll see from the list below that even that is not conclusive. I have ordered naturalization records for Joseph Sites in Columbus, Ohio, and hope to find similar records for the other siblings, trying to identify their parents and the town in Lithuania they were from. The search continues.

* I believe the people providing the information for the death certificates made a mistake or misunderstood the question. Also, it is interesting that on almost all of the death certificates the name Sites is used and not Jasaitis.
